About Event DJ Services

dj Tequiero brings decades of musical experience and a calm, intentional sound to live events. Whether you need ambient lounge for a reception, an atmospheric DJ set for a worship night, or a hybrid performance with live toplines and arrangements, he tailors each set to the room, the crowd and the occasion — always with sensitivity to faith-focused events and a heart to glorify Jesus where appropriate.

Typical Packages

Choose the package that best fits your event

Standard DJ Set

  • 60–90 minute curated DJ performance (lounge/chillout/lofi)
  • Includes pre-event consultation, music planning, basic DJ gear and 30–45 min setup

Extended DJ Set

  • 2–3 hour performance with breaks; includes playlist planning and MC/announcements
  • Includes basic lighting and longer setup/soundcheck as needed

Hybrid Live Set (DJ + Live Elements)

  • DJ set with live topline vocals/instrumentation or playback of original Christian songs
  • Includes arrangement adjustments, on-site vocal/instrument monitoring and up to one on-stage vocalist/instrumentalist

Ambient / Reception Package

  • Low-volume background set for dinners, receptions or meet-and-greet sessions
  • Playlist tailored to mood, seamless transitions, and minimal stage footprint

Worship & Faith-Focused Set

  • Custom selection or original Christian songs arranged and mixed for live worship nights or services
  • Can include lyric support, transitions for congregational moments, and a reverent, non-intrusive presentation

Custom Event Package

  • Bespoke combination of songwriting/arrangement, DJ performance, and on-site production for launches, album release parties or special services

  • Pre-event consultation to plan setlist, tone and schedule
  • Professional DJ setup (laptop, controller, primary audio interface)
  • On-site mixing and live edits
  • One free revision to the planned set or timeslot prior to the event
  • Basic playlist or set cue sheet provided to the event organizer

Technical Rider (Basic)

Sound & Equipment
  • FOH/PA system appropriate for venue size; FOH engineer recommended for medium/large venues
  • 2x AC power outlets within 3m of setup
  • Flat table (minimum 90 × 60 cm) at stage height for gear
Setup & Soundcheck
  • 30–45 minutes setup + 15–30 minutes soundcheck
  • Longer for hybrid sets
  • 1 vocal mic + stand and 1 monitor wedge (if vocalist/instrumentalist involved)
Venue Requirements
  • Shelter for outdoor events and safe, dry setup area
  • Stage dimensions: minimum 2m x 1.5m for DJ-only
  • Larger if live performers included
Stage Plot & Inputs
  • Inputs: Main L/R from DJ controller (stereo)
  • 1x vocal mic (if needed)
  • 1x DI (instrument, optional)
  • Monitor: stereo wedge or in-ear mix if requested

Licensing Notice

Public performance licensing: Organizers/venues are typically responsible for venue-side performance licensing (PRO fees). dj Tequiero can advise but does not assume venue licensing costs.
