dj Tequiero’s musical journey began at 15, when his first gig was mixing tracks for a summer youth camp. Over the years he gained hands-on experience performing with bands and singing in choirs, learning how to shape atmosphere and emotion through sound.
Professionally, Tequiero’s primary career is rooted in software engineering and cloud architecture, with broad creative experience in graphic design, video production and photography. Those technical and visual skills inform his approach to music production, giving him a unique, detail-driven perspective.
Music, however, is what drives him every day — a portable passion he can carry with him wherever he goes. His signature sound lives in lounge, chillout and lofi textures, built to create warmth, space and reflection.
In his late 30s he turned his full creative focus to Christian music. Today he writes, arranges and mixes original songs, as well as covers, dedicated to glorifying Jesus Christ, bringing decades of experience and a thoughtful, intentional approach to every project.
dj Tequiero brings decades of musical experience and a calm, intentional sound to live events.
